About Us 2017-06-27T00:56:21+00:00

Professional strength experience.

Unique perspectives.

On-site presence.

One of the key differentiators of working with TIMU Group is that of having access to the partner team. The primary way we assure our quality is better than other builders is being on-site on a regular basis, overseeing every aspect of development and construction. Our unique perspectives and insights during the planning phase and significant field experience means a better fit for home buyers and greater returns for investors.

We have marinated our heads in the active adult market, understanding the nuances of what buyers want, what they’re willing to pay for, and what they won’t. We’d love to show you one of our latest projects, The Walk at East Village in Clayton, where you can see a marked difference in design and quality from other builders in the industry.

And it’s not just us saying that. We received Ideal-Living’s Best Community Award for our thoughtful design and careful construction. And people who visit love what they see – resulting in rapid sales and happy home owners.

Mark Gramling

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in land development and construction. He grew up in Pennsylvania, graduated cum laude from Penn State with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina. Mark was responsible for the site construction of the Brier Creek shopping complex, Cardinal Gibbons High School, early phases of Cisco’s campus and many other residential and commercial projects. When Portrait Homes moved a division to the Raleigh area in 2001, he “kicked off” and developed the first five residential projects built in the area in a two-year period.

Whether it’s working on land acquisition to entitlement, working with contractors, handling contractual and business issues, government officials, he is one of only a few professionals that can take a project, or just an idea, from ground zero to the finished product.
